Ever since my first taste of Goldschlager, a cinnamon schnapps with actual gold flakes floating in it, I’ve wanted to be able to source my own supply.
That first bottle was brought back by a friend who had been to a Rocky Horror convention in L.A. The convention was hosted by http://www.midnightinsanity.com/ – the sister cast of my old mob http://funinthedark.org/ here in Sydney.

Well finally my search has apparently ended – after my mother wondered what Schnapps was made from (i.e. as potato is to Vodka) – a google search showed the name Goldschlager and I had to keep going until I found it.

Hey – I just revisited the link to Nick’s and Goldschlager may actually be in stock there! I’d love a confirmation if anyone has been able to order a bottle.
In fact I’d be happy to accept a sample from Nicks as a thankyou for pointing people to them for the past three years

I bought 4 bottles from Nicks at $79, went back to buy more and the price had gone up to $89. Not happy.

On the bright side ANDy, at least the product is actually available!
Since I’m hoping to get down to Melbourne in a few weeks I’m definitely going to grab a bottle for myself.
I would guess the price has gone up because our dollar has tanked in the past few weeks… oh well.
