Merry Christmas 2004

[12:31 AM] Well here I am, somewhat exhausted after the frantic shopping day, the kids being somewhat over excited, the (unfortunate?) late night present wrapping session with my wife and now I have to change my time zone in Manila to get the home page to flip. I guess it doesn’t quite do daylight savings around the world 🙂

So a very Merry Christmas to you all, things are quiet in Sydney this year … yesterday was raining (as has been much of December) so there haven’t been any big fires this year. Here’s hoping that continues in 2005!

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

The kids have been quite wound up all day – the anticipation must have been killing them, so without any explicit mention of the season, they were tense and on short fuses the whole day.

Finally they’ve been settled and, in what I can only hope I can turn into a tradition, I read the old poem to them as a bed time story.

Back from Buenos Aires

So I’m back from spending my massive Melbourne Cup winnings in Buenos Aires.

That’s where you’re supposed to go, right?

Well, perhaps if I had actually won something … ths story might have been true. Oh well – I still have shares in the betting agency, that’s something 🙂
